Grandmother Grave (2024-2025)

This in progress non-linear short film is my first short film, its about this little boy who the audiences hears through the voiceover. He’s speaking about his grandmother who has recently passed away. I chose to make this work because I recently went through some traumatic experiences where my bodily autonomy was taken from me. I wanted to tell this non-linear story of this boy's grandmother that comes to understand his grandmothers view on why she chose to change her body. To visuals the experience and feeling of having another person see you for who you are rather then all the things that society have deemed you to be.The loss of one's sense of themselves when they get boiled down into nothing but what can be perceived rather then what's truly there​, and that feeling of that true self being seen. The film touches on theme of Grief ​and Bodily autonomy​.
